Access to Akyaka
If you are flying , the closest airport is Dalaman Airport. It is 70 km to Gökova (1 hour drive) and you can take the airport shuttle until the Gökova Junction (TL 25 per person). Or call us for your transfer, and we can arrange any kind of transfer vehicle suited to your needs and requests. There is also another airport, Milas/Bodrum Airport which is 115 km to Akyaka however there is no airport shuttle from there. Taxi or airport transfer service are the best options.

If you‘re going to take a bus from Istanbul all Marmaris buses will go through Gökova. When buying ticket and getting on the bus please tell the bus people that you want to get off at Akyaka junction. If you call us from there we can pick you up in 5 min. Taxis can also take you to your hotel at a cost of TL 15.
Transportation Within Akyaka
Since Akyaka is a small town everything is within walking distance. So you will not be needing any kind of vehicle. We have boat shuttle service throughout the day from-to Akyaka . First shuttle is at 10:30 in the morning from Rüzgar Cafe. Last one is whenever the wind ends :) Shuttle service to kite beach is TL 15 per person. (for those who attend courses or rent equipment this service is for free)

If you want to drive to the kite beach please turn right to Marmaris direction at Gökova junction. After appr. 200 metres you will see a line of eucalyptus trees on the right and right after the trees there is a yellow "KITE ZONE" sign. Akyaka-Kite Beach by car 8 km
You can reach to our kite beach in 15 minutes by following the shoreline from Akyaka. There is a bridge on the first creek, but none on the second one. Go into the sea around 25 metres to reach the shallow part and continue walking from there.
